Q: What does it mean to have uninsured and under-insured auto coverage?

A: As the name implies, uninsured coverage offers protection and compensation for injuries and/or damages that result from an accident caused by an uninsured or under-insured motorist. An uninsured individual is one who has no coverage whatsoever, while an under-insured individual is one that causes damages above the amount of their insurance coverage.
